The 10th International Workshop on
Boolean Functions and their Applications (BFA)
September 1-5, 2025, Sun Hall Hotel, Larnaca, Cyprus
Organised by the Selmer Center
Boolean functions and more generally all the discrete structures used in error-correcting coding, cryptography or communications, are highly active research areas. The workshop Boolean Functions and their Applications (BFA) provides a forum for researchers who are working on discrete functions and structures, particularly on Boolean functions, to exchange ideas and interests in open problems, and to further explore their applications in cryptography, error correcting codes and communications.

Practical Information
Travelling to Cyprus
Larnaca’s International Airport (LCA) is the most convenient arrival point in Cyprus for reaching the BFA venue.
Upon arrival you can continue your trip by taking a taxi or the local bus 425 that serves the city center and stops very close to Sun Hall hotel (stop 14 as shown in this link).
Alternatively, you can use one of the other three legal points of entry to the country: Paphos International Airport (PFO) (120km away), or the ports of Larnaca and Limassol if you are arriving by boat.
Visa Requirements
Cyprus is a member state of the European Union so the same Visa Requirements as all other member states apply.
For more information, please check https://www.gov.cy/en/information/visas/
Note, however, that Cyprus is not yet part of the Schengen agreement, therefore passport controls are in effect at all entry and departure points.
Other useful information about Cyprus
The currency used is the EURO.
Driving is on the left (like in the UK), so bare this in mind when you are crossing the road.
All electricity plugs are UK style, and suitable adapters should be widely available.
The weather during the conference is expected to be warm, so make sure you have adequate sun protection with you (sunscreen, hats, sunglasses etc.).
Submission
Submission is now closed.
The authors of the accepted abstracts will have a choice of presenting in person at the venue or online via Zoom. It is a requirement that videos with records of presentations are submitted by August 20, 2025.
The authors of accepted abstracts and the invited speakers will be invited to submit a full paper to appear (after a new round of reviewing) in a special issue in the journal: Cryptography and Communications: Discrete Structures, Boolean Functions and Sequences. At least one author of each accepted abstract should register before August 17, 2024. Furthermore, we note that talks will be given physically whenever possible.
